Terms of Service

Please read these Terms before playing VikasRun. They form an agreement between you and Better Tomorrow Co. LLP, operating as Better Tomorrow Interactive.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing VikasRun (the “Game”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

If you use the Game on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

2. Eligibility and younger users

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Game only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian who permits use is responsible for that younger user's activity and purchases to the extent permitted by law.

3. Limited licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to install and use the Game on a compatible device for your own non-commercial entertainment.

This is a licence, not a sale. You may not copy, sell, rent, distribute, publicly perform, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit the Game except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by contract.

4. User accounts and display names

You may create a player profile using a display name and, optionally, an email address for account recovery. You are responsible for:

• providing accurate information and keeping recovery information current;
• maintaining the security of your device and account access;
• all activity carried out through your profile; and
• not using a display name that is unlawful, misleading, impersonating, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.

We may rename, hide, suspend, or remove an inappropriate display name or account. You should not use your real name or personal contact details as a public display name.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• cheat, automate gameplay, exploit bugs, manipulate scores, or use unauthorised software, bots, scripts, emulators, or modified versions of the Game;
• interfere with servers, security, matchmaking, leaderboards, advertising, purchase validation, or other users' enjoyment;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, source code, or non-public data;
• upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or unlawful content;
• use the Game for commercial promotion, gambling, illegal activity, or infringement of another person's rights; or
• encourage or help another person to do any of the above.

6. In-app purchases and virtual items

The Game may offer optional purchases, including Lotus Tokens, extra lives, avatar skins, cosmetic avatars, and other digital items (“Virtual Items”). Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are also subject to Google Play's terms and policies.

• Virtual Items are licensed, not sold. They have no cash value and are not legal tender, property, or a stored-value account.
• Virtual Items may not be sold, traded, transferred, redeemed for cash, or used outside the Game.
• Prices, availability, and features may change, subject to applicable law.
• Purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law, these Terms, or Google Play's refund policies. See our Refund Policy.

Where a purchased item is not delivered correctly, contact us with your Google Play Order ID so we can investigate. Do not send payment-card details.

7. Leaderboards and fair play

Leaderboard participation is intended to reflect genuine play. We may investigate, adjust, reset, hide, or remove scores and may warn, suspend, or ban players where we reasonably believe there has been cheating, score manipulation, bug exploitation, use of a modified client, or other unfair conduct.

Leaderboards may be unavailable, reset, changed, or discontinued. A leaderboard position is not guaranteed and has no monetary value.

8. Intellectual property

The Game and all related code, characters, names, designs, artwork, graphics, animation, music, audio, text, interfaces, game mechanics, branding, and other content, including the name “VikasRun,” are owned by or licensed to Better Tomorrow Co. LLP (Better Tomorrow Interactive) and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited licence granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, public display, modification, or commercial use is prohibited.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without compensation or attribution, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

9. Advertising and third-party services

The Game may contain advertisements served by Google AdMob and may link to third-party content or services. We do not select or endorse every advertisement and are not responsible for third-party content, products, availability, privacy practices, or transactions. Your dealings with a third party are between you and that third party.

10. Updates and availability

We may release updates, patches, balancing changes, new content, or technical requirements. Some updates may be required to continue using the Game. We do not guarantee that the Game, any feature, leaderboard, Virtual Item, or online service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Tomorrow Interactive, Better Tomorrow Co. LLP, and their partners, personnel, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, opportunity, or business arising from or related to the Game.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability relating to the Game will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us through the Game during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or INR 1,000. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using and uninstall the Game at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove scores, or restrict features if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, interfere with the Game, or engage in fraud, cheating, or abuse.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Game. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material discontinuation, but urgent legal, security, or operational circumstances may require action without advance notice.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or jurisdiction available under applicable law, courts in Vadodara, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Game.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and give both sides a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Game, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms with a revised date and provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where law requires a different form of consent.
